It's operated by Grupo Aeroportuario del Centro Norte (OMA) and closed 2025 with around 834 thousand passengers, up from about 736 thousand in 2024, an increase of nearly 13% according to OMA. From there, Highway 57 connects north to Matehuala (toward Real de Catorce) and south to the city and the corridor to Querétaro; to the east, Highway 70 drops to Rioverde and the Huasteca. Leaving with your own car saves you the taxi line and leaves you ready from day one.
