1. What the Program is and who may participate

The “Refer a Provider” Program (the “Program”) allows you to recommend individuals or businesses to offer their vehicles on KORU (korurent.com, the “Platform”). If KORU approves the person you recommended, you may earn a reward for their rentals.

In these terms:

  • “KORU” means KORU HOLDING, S.A.S., the company that operates the KORU brand, with RFC (Mexican tax ID) KHO261001F90 and tax address at Marie Curie 303, interior C13, Reforma y Ferrocarriles Nacionales, Toluca de Lerdo, Estado de México, C.P. 50070. It operates the Platform and pays the rewards.
  • “You” or “Referrer” means the person enrolled in the Program.
  • “Partner” means anyone who offers vehicles (and, in the future, accommodation) on the Platform under the Provider Agreement.
  • “Customer” means anyone who rents through the Platform.
  • “Referred Partner” means the Partner linked to you under section 3.

You may participate if you meet all of the following:

  • You are of legal age and have the legal capacity to enter into binding obligations.
  • You have a KORU account.
  • You reside in Mexico or hold a bank account in Mexico in your name.
  • You enroll from the “Refer a Provider” section and accept these terms.

You do not need to be an active KORU Partner or Customer.

These terms govern the Program. The use of your account is also governed by the Customer Terms and Conditions. In the event of any conflict on a matter relating to the Program, these terms shall prevail.

2. Enrollment and electronic acceptance

You enroll from the “Refer a Provider” section of your account. To do so, you must tick the box accepting these terms and the Privacy Notice.

By ticking the box and confirming your enrollment, you accept these terms and an agreement is formed between you and KORU. You do not need to sign any paper document.

Your acceptance by electronic means is valid and has the same effects as a handwritten signature, in accordance with articles 89, 89 bis and 93 of the Código de Comercio (Mexican Commercial Code) and articles 1803 and 1834 bis of the Código Civil Federal (Mexican Federal Civil Code).

KORU keeps a record of the version you accepted and of the date and time of your acceptance. You can consult these terms at any time at korurent.com/en/referrals/terminos.

When you enroll, your Referrals dashboard opens, with the Home, Invitees, Earnings and Share sections.

These terms apply to you from the moment you enroll, even if you have not yet generated or collected any reward.

3. Link, QR code and recognition of recommendations

When you enroll, KORU assigns you:

  • A personal link in the form korurent.com/r/<code>.
  • A QR code that leads to that same link.

Your link and your QR code are personal. You may not sell or transfer them, or use those of another person.

A recommendation is recognized as follows:

  • When someone opens your link, a reference is stored in that person’s browser for 30 days.
  • If that person later opens another referrer’s link, the last link used counts.
  • The recommendation is recognized only when KORU approves that person’s onboarding as a Partner. The fact that someone uses your link does not guarantee that KORU will approve them; KORU decides on onboarding in accordance with the Provider Agreement.
  • Each Partner is linked to a single referrer, permanently. That link does not change even if the Partner later opens other links.
  • You may not refer yourself. The system blocks such attempts.

Please note:

  • If the invited person clears their browser data, changes browser or device, or registers as a Partner after the 30 days have elapsed, the reference may be lost and the recommendation will not be credited to you.
  • KORU recognizes recommendations solely on the basis of the records in its system described in this section.

4. Reward

For each Referred Partner, you earn a reward on their rentals, under these rules:

  • Amount: 5% of the total charged for each rental of the Referred Partner. The total charged is what the Customer paid for that rental, including VAT and delivery.
  • When it is generated: when KORU pays the Partner for that rental. No reward exists before that payment.
  • For how long: for 3 months counted from the first reward that Partner generates for you, not from the date of the Partner’s onboarding. Rentals that KORU pays to the Partner after that period no longer generate a reward.
  • Cap: during the launch of the Program there is no cap per Referred Partner. If KORU sets a cap in the future, it will give notice in accordance with section 13 and the cap will not affect rewards already generated.
  • Minimum commission: if KORU’s commission on a rental is lower than the reward that would apply, that rental does not generate any reward.
  • Active Partner: only rentals paid while the Referred Partner is active on KORU generate a reward, that is, while their Partner account is not suspended, paused or closed.

Who pays it:

  • KORU pays the reward out of its own commission.
  • The reward does not reduce what the Referred Partner receives or change the price the Customer pays.

Example: a Customer pays $2,000 MXN for a rental from the Partner you recommended (VAT and delivery included). When KORU pays that rental to the Partner, you generate a $100 MXN reward.

Rewards are added to your balance (section 6) and do not bear interest.

5. Cancellation of rewards and set-off

A reward already generated is cancelled only in these cases:

  • The rental that generated it is refunded in full to the Customer.
  • The Customer disputes the charge for that rental with their bank (chargeback) and KORU loses the dispute.
  • The reward was obtained through misuse of the Program (section 9).

The following do not cancel the reward:

  • A partial refund of the rental.
  • A dispute that is still open.
  • A dispute that KORU wins.

If the cancelled reward had already been used:

  • As balance on your rentals: KORU deducts the amount from your balance. If your balance is insufficient, it will become negative.
  • As a cash withdrawal: KORU may ask you to return the amount, or set it off against your future rewards.

Right of set-off:

  • You authorize KORU to deduct from the rewards you generate in the future any amount you owe it for cancelled rewards, including a negative balance, until it is fully covered.
  • You and KORU agree to this set-off in these terms, in accordance with articles 2185 et seq. of the Código Civil Federal (Mexican Federal Civil Code).
  • While your balance is negative, you may not make withdrawals or use balance as credit.
  • If KORU asks you to return an amount, it will notify you by email and in your dashboard, stating the amount and how to pay it. You will have 3 business days to do so; if you do not, KORU will set it off against your future rewards.
  • Deductions are shown in the Earnings section of your dashboard.

6. Balance

All your rewards form a single balance in your KORU account.

Automatic use as credit:

  • When you pay for a rental of your own on KORU, your available balance is automatically applied as credit, up to 100% of that rental.
  • If you prefer to receive your balance in cash, you must withdraw it before paying for a rental (section 7).

No double use:

  • Each peso of your balance may be used only once: as credit on a rental or as a cash withdrawal, never both.

Cancellations:

  • If a rental you paid with balance is cancelled, the balance you used is returned to your account.

Other rules:

  • Your balance is not a bank deposit or a savings account, and it does not bear interest.
  • Validity: each reward expires 6 months after it is generated if you have neither used it as credit nor withdrawn it in cash. Once expired, it is no longer available in your balance. KORU will notify you before it expires.

7. Cash withdrawal

You may withdraw your balance in cash under these rules:

  • Minimum amount per withdrawal: $100 MXN.
  • Withdrawal is not automatic: you must request it from your dashboard.

Registration of your bank account:

  • Before your first withdrawal, you must register a bank account in your name through Stripe (Stripe Connect, individual account in Mexico).
  • Transfers are made only to accounts in your name. No transfers are made to third-party accounts.
  • Stripe verifies your identity and your bank account, and may ask you for tax information. That registration is also governed by Stripe’s terms and privacy notice. KORU does not control that verification.
  • If Stripe cannot verify your identity or your account, you will not be able to withdraw in cash; your balance will remain available as credit on your rentals.

Transfer:

  • KORU transfers in Mexican pesos, from KORU’s balance in Stripe, to your bank account.
  • Timing: the time Stripe and your bank take to process the transfer. KORU does not control that timing.
  • Withdrawal fee: the payout fee applicable to the transfer is deducted from each withdrawal. Before you confirm the withdrawal, your dashboard shows you the fee and the amount you will receive.
  • The transfer may fail or be delayed for reasons attributable to Stripe or your bank. If it fails, the amount becomes available in your balance again.
  • The amount transferred is no longer available as balance in KORU.
  • Withdrawals do not bear interest, even if the transfer is delayed.
  • If the law requires KORU to withhold taxes, you will receive the net amount (section 8).

8. Taxes

Rewards may constitute income for tax purposes.

  • You are responsible for declaring your income and paying the taxes that apply to you.
  • KORU may ask you for your RFC, your Constancia de Situación Fiscal (tax status certificate) and, where applicable, a digital tax receipt (CFDI) for the rewards you collect.
  • If the law requires KORU to withhold taxes on your rewards, KORU will make the withholding, pay it to the SAT (Mexican Tax Administration Service) and provide you with the withholding receipt. You will receive the net amount.
  • If you do not provide the information or tax receipts that KORU requests under this section, KORU may suspend your cash withdrawals until you provide them. Your balance will remain available as credit on your rentals.
  • VAT: the reward amount already includes any applicable tax. KORU does not add VAT to it.
  • KORU does not provide you with tax advice. We recommend that you consult an accountant.

9. Misuse

The following is prohibited:

  • Referring yourself, directly or through another account or a business you control.
  • Creating fake accounts, using another person’s data or onboarding Partners that do not exist or that will not actually operate.
  • Offering or giving payments, discounts or other benefits in exchange for someone signing up with your link.
  • Sending spam or unsolicited mass messages by email, WhatsApp, SMS, social media or other means.
  • Engaging in misleading advertising or promising, on KORU’s behalf, earnings, approvals, prices or other conditions (section 10).
  • Buying paid ads, for example on search engines or social media, that use the KORU brand, “korurent” or similar words.
  • Registering or using domains, profiles or accounts with names similar to KORU.
  • Impersonating KORU, its staff or an official representative.
  • Tampering with your link, browser references, click records or any part of the system.
  • Bringing about fictitious rentals, or abusive refunds or disputes, to generate or move rewards.

If KORU detects misuse, or has reasonable indications of it, it may:

  • Withhold your rewards and your balance while it reviews the case, for a maximum of 30 calendar days.
  • Cancel the rewards obtained through misuse and apply section 5 (deduction from balance, return or set-off).
  • Suspend or terminate your participation in the Program.
  • Take the appropriate legal action.

The measure will be proportionate to the seriousness of the breach. KORU will inform you of the reason and you may clarify your case by writing to legal@korurent.com.

10. Use of the brand and content

KORU grants you permission to use your link, your QR code and the messages and materials it makes available to you in the Share section of your dashboard, within these limits:

  • The permission is free of charge, non-exclusive, non-transferable and revocable.
  • You may use them only to invite people to become KORU Partners.
  • You may not modify KORU’s logo or materials, or use the KORU brand in any other way.
  • If you write your own messages, they must be truthful and comply with section 9.
  • You must make it clear that you participate in a referral program and that you may receive a reward if the person signs up.

You may not promise, on KORU’s behalf:

  • Earnings or income for the Partner.
  • That KORU will approve an onboarding.
  • Prices, commissions, payment times or any other condition different from what KORU publishes.

KORU may withdraw this permission at any time. When your participation ends, you must stop using the materials and the KORU brand.

The KORU brand and the Program materials belong to KORU HOLDING, S.A.S. or to whoever granted it the right to use them. This permission does not give you any right over them.

11. Relationship between you and KORU

You participate in the Program independently.

  • There is no employment relationship between you and KORU. You have no working hours, supervisor, mandatory targets or exclusivity, and you receive no salary or benefits.
  • You are not an agent, commercial commission agent, attorney-in-fact or representative of KORU.
  • You may not sign, promise or accept anything on KORU’s behalf, or bind it vis-à-vis third parties.
  • The reward is a Program incentive. It is not a salary or a commercial commission.
  • You bear your own expenses for sharing your link.

12. Suspension, voluntary withdrawal and end of the Program

Voluntary withdrawal:

  • You may leave the Program whenever you wish. Withdrawal is requested from your dashboard; KORU receives the notice and confirms your request.
  • From the request, your access to the Program is suspended and you have 30 calendar days before your participation and your Program data are deleted. KORU will notify you at the start of that period. During those 30 days you may withdraw your balance or use it as credit, in accordance with sections 6 and 7.
  • From your withdrawal, your link and your QR code stop working and new onboardings are no longer attributed to you.

Suspension by KORU:

  • KORU may suspend your participation for misuse (section 9), by order of an authority or due to technical or security failures that make it necessary.

End of the Program:

  • KORU may end or pause the Program. It will give notice on the Platform at least 3 calendar days in advance.

What happens to your money in any of these cases:

  • Your available balance remains yours: you may use it as credit or withdraw it in accordance with section 7.
  • Rewards already generated are not lost, unless they are cancelled under sections 5 or 9.
  • Rentals paid to your Referred Partners after the date of withdrawal, closure or end of the Program no longer generate rewards.
  • If the withdrawal or closure is due to misuse, section 9 applies.

13. Changes to these terms

  • KORU may modify these terms. It will notify you on the Platform at least 3 calendar days in advance, stating what changes and from when.
  • Each version has a number. When the version changes, you must accept the new one to continue participating.
  • Until you accept the new version, you will not generate rewards or be able to withdraw or use your balance. Your balance is kept and becomes available again when you accept, unless it expires earlier under section 6.
  • If you do not agree with the new version, you may withdraw in accordance with section 12; during the 30 days of the withdrawal you may withdraw or use your balance without accepting the new version.
  • Changes do not affect rewards already generated: each one is governed by the version in force when it was generated, unless the new version is more favorable to you.
  • This version 2.0 replaces version 1.0 of September 26, 2026 and also applies to the Partners linked to you under version 1.0. To continue participating, you must accept it.

14. Personal data

KORU processes your personal data in accordance with its Privacy Notice, which covers referrers, and with the Ley Federal de Protección de Datos Personales en Posesión de los Particulares (Mexican Federal Law on the Protection of Personal Data Held by Private Parties) in force. You can consult it at korurent.com/en/privacy-policy.

What data is processed in the Program:

  • Your KORU account data and the date of your enrollment and acceptance.
  • Your code and your personal link.
  • Clicks on your link, recorded with a technical fingerprint of the visitor, without storing their IP address.
  • The onboardings attributed to you, your rewards, your balance and your withdrawals.
  • Your RFC, your Constancia de Situación Fiscal and your tax receipts, if KORU requests them (section 8).
  • Your identity and bank details for cash withdrawals are collected and verified by Stripe. KORU receives only your Stripe account identifier, whether it can receive transfers, the name of your bank, the last 4 digits of your account and the details of each transfer; it does not receive your full account number.

What it is used for:

  • Operating the Program: recognizing recommendations, calculating and paying rewards and managing your balance.
  • Preventing and reviewing misuse.
  • Complying with tax and legal obligations.

What each party sees:

  • For each Partner you invited, you see only the business name, the city, the status of their onboarding (under review, approved, generating, period ended) and what that Partner has generated for you.
  • You do not see the Partner’s contact details or business figures (rentals, prices or income).
  • No information about your payouts is shared with the Referred Partner, and the Platform does not show them who recommended them.

Your obligations:

  • Use the information in your dashboard only to follow up on your recommendations.
  • You are responsible for the contact details of the people to whom you send your link and for having their permission to write to them.

You may exercise your rights of access, rectification, cancellation and objection as indicated in the Privacy Notice.

15. Liability, governing law, jurisdiction and contact

Limitation of liability. KORU is not liable for:

  • Not approving the onboarding of a person you recommended.
  • The loss of a reference due to the invited person’s browser or device.
  • Failures or delays of Stripe, banks or other third parties.
  • Temporary interruptions of the Platform.
  • What Referred Partners do or fail to do.

KORU’s total liability to you in connection with the Program is limited to the amount of rewards generated in your favor that are pending payment. This limit does not apply in the event of willful misconduct, bad faith or gross negligence by KORU, or where the law does not permit liability to be limited.

Governing law and jurisdiction:

  • These terms are governed by the federal laws of the United Mexican States.
  • For any dispute, you and KORU submit to the competent courts of the city of Oaxaca, Oaxaca, and waive any other jurisdiction that may correspond to them by reason of their present or future domicile.
  • This does not limit the rights you may have before the Procuraduría Federal del Consumidor (Mexican Federal Consumer Protection Agency) where the law grants them to you.

Other rules:

  • If any part of these terms is declared invalid, the remainder remains in force.
  • KORU’s failure to exercise a right at any given time does not mean that it waives it.
  • You may not assign your participation in the Program or your rights over your balance to another person.

Contact: for questions, clarifications or notices about the Program, write to legal@korurent.com.
